White Chocolate Raspberry Cheese Cake

Oh yes! You can bet your swear jar that this is one sinfully delicious cheese cake. You really can't go wrong. Oreo crumb crust, white chocolate, raspberries, and of course the star of the show cheese cake. Mhmm.  










Things you're gonna  need: 

    1 1/3    cup    Oreo crumbs
      1/4    cup    Butter
        2     cup    Cream Cheese
        2     tbsp   Flour
      1/3    cup    Sugar
      1/2    tsp     Vanilla
        2               Eggs
      1/2    cup    Sour Cream
      1/2    cup    White chocolate, melted
      1/2    cup    Raspberries
      1/4    cup    Sugar

How to make it: 
  1. Pre heat the oven to 350
  2. Mix the melted butter and oreo crumbs together and press into a greased springform pan
  3. Bake for 5 minutes and allow to cool
  4. Beat the cream cheese, flour, sugar, vanilla, egg and sour cream until light and fluffy
  5. In the mean time, melt the white chocolate
  6. Stir the white chocolate into the cheese cake batter
  7. Pour the mixture into the pan 
  8. Bake for 30- 40 minutes. It should be set but have a slight wobble to the center
  9. Leave in the pan to cool 
  10. Crush up the raspberries
  11. In a small sauce pan heat the raspberries and the sugar together. Stir frequently.
  12. Take off the heat and allow to cool completely
  13. Once everything is cooled, pour the raspberry over the cheese cake and enjoy :D

Spicy Avocado Fries

These bad boys are sooooo good! You wont be able to stop yourself from eating the whole plate. 

                                          (note: I keep them in aluminum foil to stay warm until I'm ready to eat)

Things you gonna need:

      2             Medium  ripe avocados
   1/2   cup   Flour
      1    tsp    Salt 
      1    tsp    Chili powder 
      1    tsp    Black pepper
      2             Eggs, beaten 
    1/2   cup   Panko bread crumbs
     1     cup   Oil 

How to make it (roughly 15 minutes):
  1. Peel and slice the avocados into 8 pieces each (total of 16 slices) 
  2. Mix the flour, salt, chili powder and pepper together 
  3. Dip the avocado pieces in to the flour 
  4. Now dip them into the beaten egg, immediately followed by tossing them in the panko bread crumbs (it will get a bit messy)
  5. Once all the avocado pieces are covered, heat the oil up in a pan over high heat. 
  6. Carefully place the avocado into the oil
  7. Turn them over when they get golden brown and take them out when they are completely golden brown
  8. Salt to taste, and if you like it spicy add some chili powder too.

Banana Chocolate Chip Fritters

This has to be one of my favorite weekend breakfast things to eat. It is a mess of yummy banana goodness. Great for when there is bananas left over at the end of the week and you have a hankering for something sweet.

Things you are gonna need:
        
        3                 Slightly over ripe bananas
        1                 Egg
      1/2    tsp       Cinnamon
      1/2    cup      Sugar
        2     cup      Flower
        1     tsp       Baking powder
      1/2    cup      Milk
      1/4    cup      Chocolate chips
      1/4    cup      Oil
      

Sugar topping: (optional) 
      1/3    cup      Sugar
      1/2    tsp       Cinnamon

How to make it (roughly  20 minutes to make): 
  1. In a large bowl, mash the bananas
  2. Beat in the egg, cinnamon and sugar
  3. Sift flower and baking soda together and mix into the banana batter 
  4. Add in the milk and chocolate chips
  5. Stir until everything is well mixed
  6. heat oil in a frying pan ( medium-high heat)
  7. Drop a big dollop of batter into the pan
  8. Cook to golden brown and flip 
  9. Once completely golden brown toss in the cinnamon sugar
  10. Serve and enjoy :)
